My Story

After spending 20+ years as a restaurant owner, pastry chef, and chocolatier, I realized I wanted to simplify my life while still creating beautiful, passion-filled chocolates. Though I enjoyed the entrepreneurial side of owning a business, I found the demands of running a brick-and-mortar operation less fulfilling. In December 2019, I sold Fleur de Cocoa, my French patisserie and chocolate shop in Los Gatos, California, with the goal of continuing my craft but in a more streamlined way. By Spring 2022, I began building Blue Canary Sweets with the vision of crafting a business that aligned perfectly with what I love.
